The 12 Steps in the Oil Cleaning Process

Specifications:

1. Oil at operating temperature and up to 50 psi pressure enters the oil refining vessel.

2. Restricting orifice controls rate of oil flow.

3. Filter element of solids, traps acids as oil is forced through the OILDynamics proprietary string filter system

4. Felt pad completes the filtering and provides barrier to solids' migration.

5. Orifices in filter retaining plate admit oil to thermal vaporization element

6. Lid seal maintains pressure relationship in vessel.

7. Heater in vessel lid maintains thermal vaporization element temp. in the excess 200 degrees F.

9. Oil pressure is released.

10. Oil cascades over 4-step dispersion plate aiding the escape of vaporized diluents

11. Exhaust vent at top of vaporization element releases vaporized fluid contaminants.

12. Clean, decontaminated oil returns to the oil supply through gravity fed oil return.

COST EFFECTIVE

The OILDynamics refiner system have over the years proven to be a very cost effective way of removing moisture from oil bath lubrication applications such as gearboxes, crankcases and transmissions. It also removes moisture from diesel fuels in fuel farms.

As there are no moving parts, the product is basically maintenance free and the only replacement part is the filter pad.

The refiners can reduce contamination particles down to less than 1 micron and reduce the moisture content to below 0.02% (below the moisture level that causes bearing damage).

The product can be used for on and off road vehicles as a bypass system and therefore does not interfere with the existing filtration system and void the warranties. Full flow systems can be set up in major oil recycling tanks to eliminate moisture. The versatility of the product allows for moisture to be removed from diesel fuel an ongoing major problem with fuel farms in mining, fuel distributors, etc.

HOW OIL DYNAMICS SYSTEMS WORKS

   First Stage - Superior Particle Filtration: Oil enters the refiner through a restricting oriface in the bottom. It then passes through a proprietary string filter element. This highly effective filter elements traps solid particles down to less than one micron. It neutralizes acids that may be present in the used oil and it also temporarily absorbs a moderate amount of water for a subsequent more even evaporation in the heat-chamber.

   Second Stage - Vaporisation of Liquid Contaminants: The oil then passes through a series of tiny openings, into the upper chamber, where a heating coil in the lid maintains a temperature in the excess 200 degrees F. This temperature is not warm enough to effect the oil itself, but it is the perfect range to cause vaporization of water and fuel contaminants. The stair-step design of the dispersion plate assures a slow even flow of oil to enhance vaporization. The vaporized fuel, water and other contaminants pass to the outside through a vent hole at the top of the refiner, while clean de-contaminated oil is returned to the oil reservoir. Simple and safe.
