Installation of Downhole Heating Cable in Romania
Oil Dynamics is proud to announce the successful installation and commissioning of our newly designed Downhole Heating Cable (DHHC) system in Romania for one of our major customers.
Customer requirement: Full prevention of paraffin formation
The DHHC was designed and commissioned in parallel with the Oil Dynamics ESP assembly, with both systems connected to the surface equipment — through a wellhead penetrator for the ESP and a pack-off system for the heating cable.
System Highlights:
- Fluid temperature: 32 °C (measured by our temperature transmitter)
- Applied power setting: 40 W/m
- Target current consumption: 57 A
- Objective: Fully achieved
The system has been operating continuously and stably since installation, meeting the client’s expectations in full.
