… Haagse Aardwarte Leyweg pump!

Celebration time!

Our Electric Submersible Pump, installed on 17. November 2020, completed its fourth year of providing clean, sustainable energy to over 2,000 households in a south-western district of The Hague, the Netherlands.

Reliability

Running reliably 24/7/365 without sleep or vacation, our submersible pump has lifted to the surface an estimated volume of geothermal fluid equivalent to more than 1,000 (!) Olympic swimming pools since its commissioning.

Technology

Geothermal brine at 79°C is delivered by our submersible pump operating in a 2000-meter-deep production well up to a surface facility. There the energy contained in the fluid is extracted by heat exchangers before the fluid is returned down to the same geological formation via an injection well, where it is reheated by Mother Earth as the cycle continues.

Know-how

Where other ESP suppliers have repeatedly failed, the Oil Dynamics GmbH Electric Submersible Pump – engineered, built and installed by specialists – has operated reliably for 4 years (and counting) with very low levels of vibration, indicating that it is still in excellent mechanical condition.

Solutions

Consequently, Haagse Aardwarmte, supported by Aardyn, has chosen a GeoDynamics product for its next pump. Thank you for your trust and preference.

Meanwhile, an upgraded version of the equipment is professionally stored in our factory and ready for replacement by our experienced Field Service at any time.
